Dumbbell Incline Press

Description

Lie face-up on an incline bench at a low angle with your feet planted flat on the floor. Extend your arms and hold the dumbbells just above your chest slanted in 45 degrees. Slowly lower the weight to just outside your chest. Forcefully press the weights up in an arc coming toward each other at the top, back to the start position. Squeeze and pause.

Tips

Make sure that when you press up, the dumbbells do not cling together. Squeeze hard at the top of the movement and slowly lower down. Be sure that you do not hyperextend your arms or "bounce" to press back up.
