Dumbbell Seated Calf Raise

Description

Sit on the side of a bench with your knees at about 90 degrees with a dumbbell resting on both knees. Place your hand on top of the dumbbell to stabilize it. Press down with your toes raising your heels up as high as they can go. Squeeze your calves and pause at the top. Slowly lower to the start position. You can add more resistance with a heavier dumbbell or by pushing down on the dumbbell with the palms of your hands.
